We offer service to develop expression system using microorganisms and mammalian cell for production of proteins such as antibody and enzyme as well as bioconversion. Host cell will be selected from microorganisms (yeast, E. coli), mammalian cell (CHO, HEK293 et al) and insect cell according to your purpose. We provide one-stop service for development of expression system, cell culture, scale up, purification, and structure determination if necessary. Genetic Engineering

We are working on expression system using oxydase (P450, dioxygenase) and glycosyltransferase (UDP-glucuronyl transferase). A various P450 gene isolated from microorganism and plant is in hand and expression vectors of the P450s have been constructed. The vector that can express bacterial P450 (class Ⅰ) functionally is one of our achievements.
This vector is encoded with class IV electron transfer proteins and various class I P450 fusion protein, so that the transformant can achieve hydroxylation to give a variety of compounds efficiently.
Some bacterial P450 have the same function as that of human or plant, so they are very useful for obtaining human metabolites of drugs. We have a library of recombinant E. coli expressing bacterial P450 available for your testing.
